• Question: what happens to fish if there grills are damaged

      Fish use their gills to take in oxygen from the water and get rid of carbon dioxide, as well as the chemical ammonia. If the gills are only damaged a little, then they still might be able to use them, just not as effectively. If their gills are damaged a lot, then they would not be able to survive.
